Watching old tv shows at the Prime Time Cafe,
Walt Disney World |
No, you won't find that title on our reading list.....that's just my way of saying we bought ourselves for Christmas that thing that let's you stream videos from your Netflix account or wherever directly to your tv. So, Wahoo! All those quiet reading nights have turned into times for watching old tv shows, stupid movies, good movies, new tv shows and cable series we haven't watched because we don't have cable. So while Ernie should have been reading
A Bend in the River he was watching "Final Option" and "Dragnet" and "Burn Notice." While I should have been reading
Main Street I was watching "Working Girl" and "Dark Shadows" and "Eureka." Well, you get the idea. So, we will try and buckle down and get back on schedule with our reading. We are really enjoying the "reading project" but are temporarily dazzled by the "magic streaming box" project. At least we hope it is temporary. Stay tuned for either more reading commentary or at least the story of how Barnabas Collins became a vampire! We assume they get to the point on one of these episodes, although it is a soap opera so it is slow going.
I, too am hooked on watching shows on ROKU so I understand. lmh
